The Salinas Dojo has been an affiliate of Funakoshi Shotokan Karate Association (located in Milpitas) for the past 30+ years where founder and advisor Kancho Kenneth Funakoshi and Chief Instructor Shihan Kyle Funakoshi are headquartered. We also continue to have close relationships with nearby dojos such as Arimas Traditional  Karate in Soledad (Sensei Leo Arimas) and San Luis Obispo Shotokan Karate (Sensei Louis Garcia).
